AUGUST AMES BIOGRAPHY:
August was born in Antigonish, Nova Scotia, Canada. She grew up in Petawawa, Ontario and later lived in Colorado Springs, Colorado.
She graduated from Oromocto High School. Ames was of Polish ancestry and was also one — quarter African—American. August Ames’s parents worked in the army.
Her mother was suffered from bipolar disorder. August spent her early years as a military brat, including a number of years living beside Canadian Forces Base Petawawa.
Ames claimed that she was routinely molested by her paternal grandfather as a child. But, August Ames’s father refused to believe her and she was sent to live in a group home when she was only 12 years old.
Before becoming an adult star she posed for some local modelling shoots and had always wanted to work as an erotic model.
When she was at 19, Ames searched for modelling agencies online.
In no time at all she was booked to feature within her first shoot in late 2013. August Ames was married to a producer and director, Kevin Moore.
August Ames started her career in the adult industry in November 2013 when she was only 19 years old. Ames performed in over 270 films. She was nominated for four AVN Awards in her lifetime.
AUGUST AMES DEATH:
Weeks prior to her death, August had confirmed that she had a history of bipolar depressive disorder and dissociative identity disorder due to a traumatic childhood.
On 5 December 2017, two days after her tweet, August was found dead in a park in Camarillo, California, at the age of 23. Her death was ruled a suicide due to asphyxia by hanging by the Ventura County Medical Examiner’s Office.
Upon her autopsy, toxicology results revealed that she had marijuana, cocaine, antidepressant Sertraline (Zoloft), and the anxiolytic Alprazolam (Xanax) in her system at the time of death. Her close friends stated that cyber—bullying led her to end her life.
