Diabetes Kya Hai (What is Diabetes or Sugar)?

Diabetes ek bahut hi aam aur khatarnaak beemari hai, jo ki sugar ya madhumeh ke name se bhi jaani jaati hai.

Bharat (India) me har paanch me se ek aadmi ko sugar hai.

Sugar ek aisi beemari hai jisme patient ke khoon me glucose ki matra ya level avashyakta se adhik ho jaata hai.

Aisa do kaarno se ho sakta hai: Ya to apki body paryapt matra me insulin nahi produce kar rhi hai ya phir apke body cells produce ho rhi inslin par koi pratikriya nahi kar rahe.

Insulin ek Harmon hai jo apki body me carbohydrate aur fat ke metabolism ko control karta hai.

Metabolism ka matlab uss prakriya se hai jisme body khane (food) ko pachaata ya digest karta hai jisse ki apki body ko energy mil sake aur uska vikas ho sake.

Sugar ke Prakaar (Types of Sugar):

i) Type-1 Diabetes:

Yeh tab hota hai jab apki body isulin banana band kar deti hai. Aise me patient ko bahar se (externally) insulin dena padta hai. Ise insulin-dependent diabetes mellitus, IDDM bhi kaha jaata hai.

ii) Type-2 Diabetes:

Type 2 diabetes me body insulin to produce to karti ha par jo insulin banta h wo thik se work nai karta ya phir body ki jaroorat ke anusaar nahi banta.Ise non-insulin-dependent diabetes mellitus, NIDDM bhi kehte hain.

iii) Gestational Diabetes:

Ye aisi mahilaon ya ladies ko hota hai jo pregnant hoti hain aur unhe pehle kabhi diabetes na hua ho.

Aisa pregnancy ke waqt blood me glucose ka level avashyakta se adhik ho jaane ke kaaran hota hai.

Sugar ke Lakshan (Symptoms of Sugar):

  • Bahut adhik pyaas ya bhookh lagna
  • lagataar kamjori aur thakawat mehsoos hona
  • Ek dum se weight kam ho jaana
  • ghaav bharne me jyada waqt lagna
  • Jaldi-jaldi toilet jaana
  • Aankhon se saaf nazar na aana ya dhundhla nazar aana
  • Skin me infection hona aur khujli ya itching hona
  • Munh (mouth) me dryness aur khujli hona

Sugar ke Kaaran (Causes Of Sugar):

  • Jo log junk food jyada khate hain unhe sugar hone ke chances jyada hote hain. Iska kaaran ye hai ki junk foods me fat jyada hota hai, jisse body me jaroorat se jyada calories badh jaati hain aur body ka fat badhne lagta hai. Body me sahi matra me insulin nahi ban pata aur sugar ka level badh jaata hai.
  • Sugar genetic bhi hota hai. Agar kisi family me mother ya father ko sugar hai toh unke bachchon ko diabetes hone ke chances jyada hote hain.
  • jyada mote (fatty) aur jaroorat se jyada weight wale logo ko sugar hone ke chances adhik hote hain.
  • Physical work na karna bhi sugar ke liye jimmedaar hai. Kuch log ek hi jagah par baith kar kaam karte hain aur na hi exercise ke liye hi time nikaal paate hain.
  • Saara time stress me rehna ya phir depress hona.
  • Jyada chai, cold-drinks, meetha aur cheeni ka sevan karna.

Diabetes ke Upay (Solution of Diabetes)

  1. Jitna ho sake stress free rahe. Iske liye aap yoga aur meditation ka sahara le sakte hain.
  2. Jyada se jyada physical work Karen, apna weight control me rakhe aur achchi neend (sleep) le.
  3. Fast food, jyada sugar wali cheej, ghee aur tel se bani hui cheejon ko avoid Karen.
  4. Diabetes ke patient ko regular blood sugar level test karvate rehna chahiye.
  5. Doctor se consult kiye bina koi bhi medicine na le.

Diabetes Me Kin Food Items Ko Avoid Karen:

Smoking, Sugar, Sweets, glucose, gur, ice-cream, cake, pastry, sweet biscuits, chocolates, cold-drinks, cream, oily food, makkhan, ghee, junk-food, cookies aur vansapati tel, etc.

Diabetes Me Kin Food Items Ko Kam Khayen:

Namak (salt), meat, fish, eggs, alcohol, chai or tea, coffee, honey, nariyal, nuts and sea food etc.

Diabetes Me Kya khayen:

Jitna ho sake pani piyen aur inn cheejo ka sevan jyada karen;

jaise ki grapes, Indian blackberry, banana, apple, anjeer, kivi fruit, pyaaz,  lehsun, mooli, tamatar, gajar, paalak, shaljam, gobhi, kachcha banana, kachchi moongphali, aalu, skimmed milk, daliya, matar, kaala chana, dahi aur mattha etc..
